Together, the performances, country booths and food showcase demonstrated that ASEAN’s diversity is not merely a defining characteristic of the region, but also a source of connection among its peoples and a bridge for greater understanding with friends and partners beyond Southeast Asia.

The celebration also provided an opportunity to recognize the importance of people-to-people ties in strengthening relations between ASEAN and Pakistan. Through culture, cuisine, business, education, tourism and sustained engagement, ASEAN and Pakistan continue to discover new avenues for greater familiarity and friendship.
