Greetings
I hope you are well.
As you are aware, May 25th is celebrated as ‘Africa Day’ every year throughout the world, as it commemorates the successes of the African Union in the fight against colonialism and apartheid, as well as the unprecedented progress Africa has made over the past many decades. The Day also offers an opportunity to reflect upon the common challenges that the Continent faces in the evolving global environment.
The Centre for Afghanistan, Middle East & Africa (CAMEA) at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) has been regularly organizing activities to commemorate ‘Africa Day’ since 2020 and this year we will be celebrating Africa Day, on May 26, 2025 at 1130 hrs at the ISSI premises. The event will also provide a valuable opportunity to engage with members of the African diaspora in Islamabad.
We would very much appreciate your participation.
A detailed programme is attached for your kind perusal.
I look forward to your positive response.
Regards, Amina Khan
Director, Centre for Afghanistan, Middle East & Africa (CAMEA)
